Southern State makes it easy to apply for college! We have no mandatory grade point averages, specific test requirements or other intimidating admission guidelines.

Steps to Apply
Step 1 – Complete a New Student
There is no fee or deadline to submit the application for admission. If you are a student in grades 7-12 and interested in College Credit Plus (CCP) please complete the College Credit Plus Application for Admission. If you are a Returning Student who has missed one or more terms, please complete the .
Step 2 – Request Transcripts
Contact your high school to request that your final transcript be sent to the Office of Admission.
Step 3 – Complete a Placement Assessment Test
Continue to Placement Assessment.
Step 4 – Schedule an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor
Meeting with an Academic Advisor is required for your first term of enrollment. Schedule an appointment by calling 937-393-3431, ext. 2825 or by emailing advising@sscc.edu.
NOTE: 吃瓜不打烊 does not participate in the Department of Homeland Security's Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP). As such, the College does not accept non-US resident students for enrollment.
